Aromantic Base Products are developed in-house by Kolbjorn Borseth. They are made from well-proven raw materials. You can either use them as they are or you can add tinctures, essential oils,active raw materials, botanical CO2 extracts and vitamins, etc to them.

Base Cream for Mature Skin

A rich, everyday Base Cream for face and body. It contains Macadamia Nut Oil - the classic Vegetable Oil for mature skin. Apart from having excellent moisture-retaining qualities, Shea Butter contains 5-10% phytosterols, which are known to be active in stimulating the formation and growth of new cells. Shea Butter also balances the Thistle Oil, which is easily absorbed by the skin because of its high content of Linoleic Acid (80%), which, in turn, helps to reduce the early onset of dry and wrinkled skin. The cream benefits from approximately 10% aloe vera gel, which gives the cream a soft and light texture, which has a nice, soft feeling on the skin. It also contains significant amounts of the antioxidant Vitamin E Oil.

Base Cream for Sensitive Skin

An excellent, everyday Base Cream for face and body containing Apricot Kernel, Peach Kernel, and Rosehip Oil. These are the best oils to use on sensitive skin. Apricot and Peach Kernel Oils are stable, mild oils which spread easily on the skin and are ideal for sensitive, inflamed or aging skin. Rosehip Oil is very high in Vitamin C and, as far as we know, is one of the best vegetable source of Omega 3 and also a good source of Omega 6. Rosehip Oil also contains a derivative of Retinol (Vitamin A), which replenishes and helps rebuild skin tissue. The cream benefits from approximately 10% aloe vera gel, which gives the cream a soft and light texture, which has a nice, soft feeling on the skin. Significant amounts of the antioxidant Vitamin E Oil has also been added to this cream.

Base Shampoo for Dry Hair

This is a nourishing everyday Base Shampoo for dry hair, which includes Conditioner and is based upon well-proven detergents (safe, SLS-free and biodegradable in nature). The strong infusion of Nettle with all its minerals helps to counteract hair loss, prevent and cure dandruff, stimulate the scalp and generally improve the quality of dry, lifeless hair. Saponins from Calendula help the minerals from the Nettle to penetrate the scalp. Nettle has a very high silica content, which strengthens the hair and prevents split ends. A very concentrated shampoo that can be used every day.

Base Shampoo for Oily Hair

This is a nourishing everyday Base Shampoo for oily hair, which includes Conditioner and is based upon well-proven detergents (safe, SLS-free and biodegradable in nature). The strong infusion of Sage reduces the oily secretions of the scalp, thereby helping to improve oily hair. The Sage also helps to counteract hair loss by disinfecting the scalp and stimulating blood circulation, thereby bringing nutrients to the hair shafts. Horsetail saponins help the Sage minerals to penetrate the scalp and also has a very high silica content, which strengthens the hair and prevents split ends. A very concentrated Shampoo that can be used every day.

This is a good rich Base Lotion that can be used for most skin conditions (except oily, large-pored and combination skin). Well-proven raw materials are used so that this lotion can be used safely on the face and on the whole body. For everyday use. Add Essential Oils or leave it neutral.

A neutral Base Soap made with well-proven detergents derived from Coconut Oil and Palm Kernel Oil (NB Our Detergents are not Sodium Laureate Sulphate based!) They are considered as safe for the environment in Sweden). Just add your own favourite Essential Oils or leave it unscented.

Base Foam Bath

A neutral, rich Base Foam Bath that to which you can add your favourite bath time Essential Oils. The Foam Bath helps to disperse the essential oils throughout the whole bath and not just on the surface, avoiding skin irritations.
How much to use:
Use 1-4 tablespoons to a whole bath
Or 1-2 tablespoons in a Foot Bath
NB Add a maximum of 2% Essential Oils to the Base Foam Bath (10ml per 500ml)

Base Cleansing Lotion

This is a rich Base Cleansing Lotion based on large amounts of Sweet Almond Oil . It also contains Castor Oil, which draws out dirt. The Detergents used are very mild and derived from coconut butter. It can be used for most skin conditions but care should be taken with sensitive skin due to the small amount of Detergent. Wash it off with warm water. Add Essential Oils or leave it neutral.

Base Gel with Organic Whole Leaf Aloe Vera

This is an excellent healing Base Gel containing Organic Whole Leaf Aloe Vera, which is organically grown and cold pressed in Mexico. Aside from US organic approval, the Aloe Vera we use has also passed the inspection of the international Aloe Science Council. Aloe Vera is added to our Base Gel for its pain relieving, antiseptic and healing properties. This Base Gel can be used to help heal wounds, burns, cuts, grazes, sunburn, psoriasis, eczema, acne, and to minimise scar tissue from wounds, burns, etc.

Base Cream for Dry/Mature skin (Organic)

This cream is quite fatty and could be used as a rich moisturiser or as a hand cream. You can add your own Organic Essential Oils to them. As both the cream and lotion are externally produced in the UK they stick to the use of 1% Linseed Oil. I have never included Linseed or Flaxseed Oil, as it has always been very volatile but I have tried these products for one year and the cream hasn't go rancid during that time. If our supplier would have to change it we would need to order at least 500kg at a time. Maybe in the future! Why not try out 50ml first. 1-1.5 years shelf life.

Simply add your Organic Essential Oils and you have an organic product! The producer has guaranteed the shelf life of 12 months.

The Organic Shower Gel/Body Wash is quite runny so if you want to thicken it you can, by:
Adding only essential oils. Be careful though as citrus essential oils usually make it runnier but oils like lavender will thicken it.
Heating up the base shower gel and add salt little by little, until you get the right consistency.
Dissolving up to 25% salt in boiling water and gradually stirring that into the shower gel until you get the right consistency.
Making Organic Scrubs with the Shower Gel/Body Wash is super easy:
For Organic Face Scrubs mix in 2-4% Exfoliant Cupuacu (Organic).
For non-Organic Face Scrubs mix in 1-2% Exfoliant Cupuacu and 1-2% Jojoba Exfoliating Grains (they give the product a nice colour as well).
For non-Organic Body Scrubs mix in 1-3% Apricot Kernel powder together with 1-2% Jojoba Exfoliating Grains. Shake well before use as the exfoliating agents sink.
