Fairly traded Organic Buds from a community project in Sri Lanka.

What is it?

An oil often used in dentistry as it can temporarily paralyse the tri facial nerve so gives effective pain relief for toothache (don’t use internally).

Skin Care

It can help as part of a blend as a mosquito repellent but take note of the Caution. Has also been shown to assist with rheumatism and arthritis as well as indigestion.

Hair Care

No specific useage but could be added to holiday shampoos that need a mosquito repellent.

Suggested Blends

Often used in perfumery, it blends particularly well with rose as well as lavender, clary sage and ylang ylang.

Caution

This oil from the flower bud is the least toxic than other clove oils as it contains the least eugenol which can be a dermal irritant but still use in dilutions of less than 1%.
