"As seen on the picture the species of flower depicted is the plumeria (or frangipani). However, this is not the real scent of the frangipani. I live on a tropical island and am well familiar with the citrusy, flowery notes of my favorite tropical flower. Not sure why, but all sources out there sell this type of strong perfume like oil. If you are looking for a real scent, this is going to disappoint you. I don't like giving negative feedback, but in this case, I feel that I have to help with my honest opinion. So sorry, Aromantic! But I have no other choice. Hopefully, you will question your supplier on the validity of their claim."

- Why would you list this as an 'absolute' when it's a synthetic perfume? It should say 'fragrance oil' or similar on the bottle, it's misleading, as is the description that it's sourced from 'solvent extract of the flowers'. I was about to buy this when I read the one star review below and realised that it was not an absolute at all.
- We go by what information our suppliers give us. Unfortunately, many suppliers still sell it as Frangipani Absolute when it is actually, an extract with additives to give it a bit of help. When we looked into this a couple of years ago or so, we discovered that it is almost impossible to find pure Frangipani. We changed supplier in 2019 and our current supplier provides a great deal of information, For example, we know that our current oil comes from France and is a mixture of natural and synthetic components. It's important to note that we compared a GCMS for our previous oil and for our current oil and they are remarkably similar. We aim for 100% accuracy in our information but as we are not producing the oils, we can only go by what information we are given.

- What % of this perfume can I use in my face cream?
- The IFRA declaration states it to be safe at 1%, however, I would not dream of using that amount as the fragrance is so strong. Typically, I use 0.2% to 0.4% depending on the product, so it smells elegant and not like an air freshener.
