Origin: from more than one country but produced in Brittany, France. Colour of powder is bright green. The Peel-Off Olive Face Mask contains olive leaves, spirulina algae (which partially gives the mask a bright green colour) and rosemary essential oil. Thanks to the properties of the mask it leaves the skin replenished and moisturised. The rosemary oil along with the other ingredients has a pleasant cooling effect on the skin while the mask is on, almost like menthol. It is available in foil sachets in the following quantities: 1x, 5x, 10x, 30x & 50x.
The olive leaves contain a phenolic compound, which is responsible for the main properties of olive leaf, namely antioxidant and antibacterial. Moreover, olive leaves contain flavonoids and oleanolic acid, which are traditionally used as scar-forming compounds. Spirulina is a helicoidal filamentous alga with a blue-green colour due to the chlorophyll pigment and the phycocyanin pigment-protein complex. It has the amazing ability to synthesise high-quality concentrated nutrients more efficiently than any other algae. It provides high concentrations of many nutrients: amino acids, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, essential lipids like gamma-linolenic acid, and antioxidants such as beta carotene. The rosemary leaf essential oil is regenerative, uplifting and moisturising.
Instructions for using Peel-Off Olive Face Mask 1 sachet is enough for 1-2 treatments. Mix 30g (1 sachet) of powder with 90g of water or 15g of powder (1/2 sachet) with 45g of water. Place the powder from the sachet into a bowl and add room temperature (about 20 degrees Celsius) water to the powder. Mix vigorously to get a homogenous paste. Apply to the skin immediately and leave it to perform its action for 15 minutes. It will rubberise on the skin within a few minutes and once rubberised/set you cannot mix it with water again so: work quickly and only use as much as you need. The mask peels off easily once treatment is over. NB! Remember that if the masks thickens and rubberises too fast you may possibly have used water that was too hot. Make sure you use approximately 20 degrees Celsius water to make the paste and then the rubberising process will go slower and you can quietly enjoy your treat.
