Inci: Glycerin, Aqua, Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Primula Veris Flower Extract, Alchemilla Vulgaris Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Veronica Officinalis Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Achillea Millefolium Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Citric Acid

An aqueous complex of 7 Swiss alpine plants (Mallow, Peppermint, Cowslip, Lady’s Mantle, Speedwell, Melissa and Yarrow) designed to brighten and even the skin and reduce the colour intensity of age spots.

A clear, amber coloured, slightly viscous liquid with a slight odour made up of 7 Swiss alpine plants into an aqueous complex.

It is now preservative free so store it cool and dark and use the contents as quickly as possible. Replace the lid immediately after using to help prevent microbial ingress.

It has good Eco credentials and complies with the NaTrue criteria as well as Cosmos.

100% natural origin and pH stable between 3.5 - 6.5

Skin Care

Excellent to use in anti ageing hand creams.

Age spots on the hands are very ageing but are also difficult to get rid of.

Skin Lightener acts slowly which means you don’t get a give away bleaching effect. It can take up to 12 weeks to see the best results.

The colour intensity of the age spots is significantly reduced over a period of time. It evens out the skin tone so use in acne damaged skin products.

Can be used in daily defence creams as well as night creams and serums for its brightening effect on the skin.

Hair Care

No specific hair use.

Use at 3% to 5%.

It is soluble in water so cannot be used in oil only products.

It is heat stable only up to 60°C. Add to Stage 3 (cool down stage) of creams and lotions.

Ideal to use in gels and serums.

We feel it is best as the sole lightening ingredient in the product you use it in.

However, regular exfoliation of the skin will help to remove dead skin cells which will enhance to overall effect.

Hello, is it all right to use Skin lightener and Vitamin B3 in the same formula? And if it is all right, can I use both of them at 4%? Thank you, indeed.: Please see below response; 'Yes, they can both be used together in the same formula and 4% is ok, both should be added in the cool down phase, and the skin lightener can't be used in oil only products. If in any doubt, check with a Safety Assessor. Aromantic haven't tried and tested that particular combination of ingredients but there's no reason why it wouldn't work.'

Hi Aromantic Team, I was wondering if you considered this extract suitable for sensitive skin. Kindest, Sara: Thank you for your enquiry. Please see the below response from our Research and Development Team; "The manufacturers don't have any contraindications for sensitive skin on their documentation. It's certainly not a harsh ingredient and doesn't work by stripping the surface layers of the skin which could upset sensitive skin so I think it would be safe to try it. Make a small batch of cream to start off with and obviously if your skin does react to it then discontinue use immediately."
Hello, Regarding to one of the cosmetic ingredients at your webshop (skin lightener), do you have any valuable source or references about scientific background of the ingredients used in it which confirm the effectiveness of the ingredients related to skin lightening characters? Which compounds in the plants used in this mix will cause the skin lightening effect? In general we know vit. C as skin lightening ingredient.
