What is it?

Benchmark Thyme (was previously called Thyme 4 Seasons) is a blend of 4 thyme cultivars grown* for its unique combination of aroma-chemicals. Researched and developed by well known aromatherapy researcher and author Maggie Tisserand, Benchmark Thyme is a new type of Thyme Essential Oil Blend that has similar properties to Tea Tree Essential Oil but is also useful in beauty care and is safe to use on the skin when diluted. Maggie is launching a new book later in the year, which details all sorts of exciting research for the Thyme Blend as an anti-microbial oil.The uniqueness of Benchmark Thyme is that it contains a combination of specific components of the chemistry of tea tree and specific components of the chemistry of thyme linalool – and with all of the components coming from our four ethically cultivated thyme cultivars, skilfully blended into a synergistic formulation. This is a truly unique and effective essential oil.*(Ethically cultivated to organic standards but without organic certification.)

Skin Care

Add Benchmark Thyme to:

• eau de colognes - its very powerful herbal aroma/very clear top note will enliven any cologne
• antiseptic liquid and solid soaps - especially if you want a fresh, medicinal aroma
• products treating acne and other skin problems
• antibacterial toothpastes and mouthwashes
  effective deodorants.

Hair Care

Add to a shampoo to clear dandruff and to prevent infections.
