Announcing a brand new Masterclass: Sucragel Organic Emulsifier, latest courses schedule and our Open Day

New course exploring the full potential of Sucragel AOF Bio (formerly stocked as Cold Emulsifier), Fulham, London 28 June 2012

We are delighted to announce a brand new Aromantic course designed by Mike Harmon, Masterclass: Sucragel Organic Emulsifier. We previously stocked Sucragel AOF Bio (Organic) as Cold Emulsifier (Organic) but now as the supplier is so impressed with the work Mike Harmon has done with them to develop the scope of its use, the producer has made Aromantic an exclusive UK distributor for 5kg or less. Mike's testing and formulating with Sucragel AOF Bio has led to creating a Masterclass on the use of the product. It's a very exciting product with which you can make up to 100% organic products! On the course we will use some non-organic ingredients (under 10%) in recipes to showcase the full potential of this phenomenal organic emulsifier. Mike is currently writing a book on organic skincare which utilises Sucragel AOF Bio as well as including many more recipe for creams and lotions, hair products, baby care and spa products. Students on the day will receive a copy of the book at no extra charge.

New Recipes on Coloured Make up Days 22-24th June 2012

Cinda Phelps, the capable and experienced cosmetologist who comes in especially from USA to facilitate these courses has been working hard again this whole year developing approximately 18 new recipes for the Coloured Make-up Days and she is looking forward to presenting them to both old and new students alike. I also want to remind you that it will be at least one year before she returns as we only run the courses once a year. We all look forward to seeing her and sharing in her incredible amount of knowledge and experience.

Open Day London, Saturday 7th July 2012 11am-7pm

Benj Borseth will be at our Course venue, Percy Barton House in Fulham to sell the stock we have at the venue. If you’re in the area, it’s a great chance to stock up before the products go back up to Scotland as there’s a massive 15% discount on all products on the day!

And we're very excited to announce that Maggie Tisserand will be giving a 45-minute talk followed by Questions & Answers. Maggie will be talking about her new book, Aromatherapy vs MRSA: Antimicrobial Essential Oils to Combat the Superbug, and the research she undertook which led her to writing the book. She'll be discussing the importance of everyone's awareness of MRSA and keeping it at bay as well as the difference between antibiotics and Benchmark Thyme in the way that each deal with bacteria. We'll soon have her book available for sale on our website, so you can take it along or buy your copy on the day and get it signed by Maggie! The Open Day and Maggie's talk is free but as space is limited, you need to book a space for Maggie's talk - the time will be confirmed in our next Newsletter due out end of May. To book your space for Maggie's talk, please send a request with the names and postal addresses of the attendees (maximum 2 per e-mail) to info@aromantic.co.uk. You will receive an e-mail response if you have been successful confirming your place and tickets will be sent to the postal address you have provided. There are only 45 places, and tickets will be given out on a first come first served basis. The booking deadline is 21st June 2012, but tickets will probably be gone long before then! If you decide you cannot make it, please do let us know beforehand, to give others a chance to attend.

Course Booking Update

After very full courses in London in April our courses are once again filling up fast. We had in fact 3 days of Beginners Days in London with an overflow of the third day at Mike Harmon's place! Also our Beginners Day in Forres next week has been fully booked for quite some time now. So the last Beginners Days before the Summer are 14th and 15th June in London - as always we advise you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Other courses that we have just a few places left on are:

• The Legal Requirements Course in London 10th June - only 8 places left
  
  
• Anti-Wrinkle/Skin Rejuvenation Products Course in London 25th June - 7 places left
  
  
• For people who want to attend a course ASAP, we still have places left on the Intermediate, Advanced and Legal Requirements Course in Forres, Scotland, 11-13th May.
  
  
• The Optimising and Prescribing Raw Materials for Different Skin Types: Advanced Days 1 and 2 will not run again after this Summer. As we create new courses all of the time, we need to prioritise which courses to run because of restrictions with our venue. So, if you want to gain the comprehensive knowledge on how to makes different skin types/conditions such as dry/mature, sensitive, oily plus how to treat scar tissue and stretch marks, now's your chance to benefit from this teaching on the 7th & 8th of June in London.
