Aromantic Ltd and this web site is owned by Kolbjørn Borseth, Director of Aromantic Ltd, with its main office at 17 Tytler Street, Forres, Moray, Scotland IV36 1EL. VAT Reg. No: 683 0879 01; Company number: SC299277.

Ordering from Aromantic Ltd

Orders can be placed through our website, www.aromantic.co.uk or by telephoning +44 (0)1309 696900 during office hours, which are currently 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

UK and International Order Processing and Despatch times

Any telephone or web orders, whether placed on a working day, a weekend, or a holiday, will not be looked at until the next working day. Once you have paid for an order, any changes will be treated as a new order. If items are out of stock we will contact you.

UK Despatch times:
Most in-stock orders are despatched from our offices within 7 working days Monday-Friday (may take longer in busy periods). We cannot guarantee despatch times in situations affected by circumstances beyond our control. You will receive an e-mail from us the day we despatch your order. Depending on the size and value of your order, we will either send your parcel using Royal Mail's 1st Class service or our courier service.

UK Delivery times:
If your order is despatched by: courier - allow 1-2 working days for delivery after despatch; Royal Mail, 1st Class - usually takes 1-2 working days for delivery after despatch but delivery times can vary with Royal Mail for various reasons. Risk of damage or loss of the goods passes to you on delivery.

Outside Mainland UK, Europe & International Delivery times:

International Despatch Times
Most in-stock orders are despatched from our offices within 7 working days Monday-Friday (may take longer in busy periods). We cannot guarantee despatch times in situations affected by circumstances beyond our control. You will receive an e-mail from us the day we despatch your order. Your parcel, if under 2kg will be sent by Royal Mail Airmail service. If over 2kg, it will be sent by international courier.

International Delivery Times
Once parcels are despatched by us, delivery times can vary from country to country. Risk of damage or loss of the goods passes to you on delivery.

Postage Costs

We endeavour wherever possible to keep P&P costs as low as possible for our customers and even FREE for mainland UK orders over £95.00* (excluding VAT).

*Please note that even though courses and products can be bought and paid for in a single transaction, course fees do not count towards free postage; only products that are to be sent in the post are eligible for the free postage.

UK Mainland
Free for all orders over £95.00 (excluding VAT). If the value of your order is under £95.00 (excluding VAT) then P&P costs are calculated by the weight of the order. Most publications are postage free for UK customers but must be ordered on their own (if ordered with other products, the usual postage charges will apply).

Outside Mainland UK, Europe & International
P&P costs are calculated based upon your shipping zone and the weight of your order.

UK and International - Arranging your own courier

If you wish to arrange your own courier (available for certain countries only), please make sure that your contact details in your customer profile are correct before submitting your order or we will not be able to inform you or your courier company when your parcel is ready for pick-up. Once the payment for your goods has been accepted we will contact you to give you the dimensions and weight of your parcel and to let you know that your order is ready to be picked up by the courier you have arranged. Please ensure that your parcel is collected within 7 days of us contacting you.

IMPORTANT: We cannot be held responsible for any delays to your order once the goods have left our premises.

Product Availability

We endeavour to only display products on this web site which are in stock. However, all products and services are subject to availability. If your order cannot be fulfilled within our usual despatch time you will be contacted. It may (but very seldom does) happen that a product is discontinued after you have ordered it, in this case you will be given a full refund.

Payment

Payment can be made by Gift Voucher, PayPal and also by any major credit or debit card, except for American Express. Cheques should be made out to 'Aromantic Ltd'.

Prices, Quotes and Bulk Orders

We endeavour to ensure accurate pricing in both our catalogue and on website. Prices are subject to change without notice and our website has the most up to date prices. Prices are quoted in UK Sterling (£) without VAT. VAT, if applicable, is added during the checkout process.

Whilst we do not impose minimum order quantities, ordering items in bulk can result in substantial savings. Should you require a bulk order quote, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will happily provide you with a quote and availability. For bulk orders, any price commitment is made on the placement of your order only.

VAT

VAT is calculated and added during the checkout process. Please note that there is VAT charged on shipping to the UK and EU as we are obliged to do so.

VAT - UK customers/shipping address
VAT will be added to your order unless you provide us with a valid VAT identification number. If you do not provide us with a valid VAT number, then the we are obliged by HM Revenue & Customs to charge VAT on your order.

VAT - EU Countries
VAT will be added to your order unless you provide us with a valid VAT identification number that is valid for import/export in the country you live in. If you do not provide us with a valid VAT number, then the we are obliged by HM Revenue & Customs to charge VAT on your order.

NOTE: There may be non-VAT related import and custom duties and taxes applicable to your shipping destination that Aromantic Ltd cannot be held responsible for. If you have questions about these taxes please contact your local customs office.

VAT - International Orders (any non-EU country)
International orders outside of the EU do not incur VAT, however, there may be import and custom duties and taxes applicable to your shipping destination that Aromantic Ltd cannot be held responsible for. If you have questions about these taxes please contact your local customs office.

Customs Duties and Taxes

There may be non-VAT related import and custom duties and taxes applicable to your shipping destination that Aromantic Ltd cannot be held responsible for. If you have questions about these taxes please contact your local customs office. Aromantic Ltd cannot be held responsible for any Import or Customs Duties or Taxes charged by your country.

Returns

It is our aim to offer 100% satisfaction. We will be happy to replace any faulty goods or redress any errors that we have made in connection with an order. You have the right to cancel your order within seven days of placing it with us, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer) but any goods may be returned within 14 days from the day they are received providing they are unopened and unused. If they are unopened and unused or you cancel your order before we send out your parcel, we will be happy to refund your full payment, excluding return postage costs (if applicable). This is in addition to your statutory rights. If there are any claims, errors, or discrepancies, these must be reported immediately.

Many customers want to know why they can't get a refund on a product that they have opened but not used and wish to return to us. The reason is that we can no longer guarantee the quality of the product once you have opened it and so we cannot sell it to someone else. If you are unsure that you are going to like the smell or consistency of a product, we suggest that you buy a small quantity first to test it. Due to the time and high expense involved, we regret that we cannot send samples.

Lost or Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that your product is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us in writing or by email at orders@aromantic.co.uk. In the case of non-delivery, please wait for 7 days after despatch (UK and EU countries) or 15 days from the date of despatch (non-EU and International) before contacting us. In the case of damage please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and return the product to the following address Aromantic Ltd, 17 Tytler Street, Forres, Moray. Scotland IV36 1EL. We will either: refund you the postage costs, give you credit towards your next order or arrange our courier to pick up the damaged goods (for heavy parcels).
Items missing in your parcel

If any item is short delivered and has been charged for, Aromantic Ltd will cover the cost of freight in resending the goods as soon as is possible.

Returned Parcels

if your parcel is returned to us through no fault of our own, we may charge you a redelivery cost. Please ensure that you give us correct delivery information when ordering.

Liability and Disclaimer

Product liability
The stability and nature of our products may be altered depending on storage conditions, or when used in combination with other ingredients or not as specified in our recipes.

The information on this website and in our publications is as comprehensive and current as we can make it and is provided in good faith but it is intended as a guide to the appropriate handling of the raw materials. While we have obviously done our utmost to provide current and accurate information, there may be errors. We cannot be responsible for any actions or loss arising from any errors/omissions we have made or on the reliance/misuse of this information. It is the responsibility of our customers to request and ensure that they have up to date material data safety sheets for the products that they buy from us and to ensure that they are aware of safety hazard information. If customers are going to produce large batches of labels for their products they are selling on based on the information we give them we cannot guarantee that the INCI names or other information on the label will remain the same as it depends on what is available on the market and suppliers can alter the ingredients listings slightly whilst still providing a product of similar quality.

Base and Ready Made Products disclaimer: As the availability of ingredients and raw materials is not always certain due to market conditions or otherwise, Aromantic Ltd reserves the right to substitute alternate ingredients/raw materials in the manufacture of its Ready Made and Base products in order to maintain supply to its customers. Customers should always refer to the ingredients label affixed to each product at the time of supply of the product request information if necessary but whilst we strive to keep label information accurate.

Precaution

The information published on our website, whether in our newsletters, articles, product descriptions or otherwise is not intended as a substitute for personal medical advice. Before making any decision regarding your personal health, please consult a GP, Medical Herbalist, qualified Aromatherapist, other qualified health practitioner or a recommended reference book before using Herbs, Essential Oils or Absolutes. Pregnant women, the elderly, those with skin sensitivities or problems, or those with difficult medical conditions should be particularly careful when applying Herbs, Essential Oils, Absolutes and other raw materials externally. It's a good idea to let your GP, Medical Herbalist, Qualified Aromatherapist or Health Practitioner know that you are considering the use of Herbs or Essential Oils as some may cross-react with conventional drugs you are, or may be considering, taking. Report any side effects to your personal Health Care Practitioner.

Aromantic members - News/mailing list sign-up

By signing up as an Aromantic member on our website you will receive e-mails with information on special offers from Aromantic Ltd, new courses and other offers. We may also use the information we collect occasionally to notify you about important changes to the Aromantic Ltd web site and new services. To opt out of the Aromantic mailing list: at the top and bottom of each e-mail is an 'unsubscribe' button for you to click. Please follow the instructions and your email address will be removed from our mailing list. You do not have to register a customer account in order to be on our mailing list/an Aromantic member.
