The straw on the Pump Cap has a length of 110mm and you need to cut the straw at an angle with a pair of scissors so that the tip just touches the bottom of the bottle you are inserting it into.
We have tested this pump cap and you can pump thick lotion with them.

If the straw has not been cut short enough - there is too much pressure on it and when used it may snap.
