According to the Cosmetic Ingredient Database (CosIng), the functions of Bergamot Essential Oil are: Masking, Skin Conditioning.

Skin Care
It contains bisabolol which is nourishing for the skin, as well as chamazulene which is what gives it the deep blue colour.
Suitable for dry, flaky and itchy skin.
Can be suitable for eczema prone skin and irritable skin if used in small amounts.
Hair Care
Use sparingly in shampoos if there is an irritated scalp.

Can be used in an oil burner or diffuser in the house.
Suggested Blends
Add to Camphor for sports massage.
