Composition

A blend of natural and nature identical ingredients in propylene glycol.

This Aroma adds a subtle fragrance and flavour to your lip balms, may also be used to fragrance creams, lotions, shampoos, hair conditioners, and body washes etc.

Dosage

Use up to 1% in your lip balm recipes, up to 1% in rinse off products such as shampoos, hair conditioners and body washes for a subtle vanilla fragrance and up to 1% in hand and body creams, lotions and other leave on products.

When to add

Add to lip balms when the mix is cooling.

The mix must be fluid to incorporate the Aroma thoroughly, but avoid extended heat or high heat.

In hand and body creams and lotions, add in Stage 3 (below 40°C) or add to readymade products.

In shampoos, hair conditioners, body washes and shower gels, add when the product is below 40°C, or add to readymade product.

Warnings

Avoid undiluted contact with the skin.

Note:

This Aroma may discolour your lip balm slightly as it is a dark liquid.

It turned our clear readymade Shampoo Base for All Hair Types into a clear amber colour and our white Dry/Mature Skin Lotion (Organic Ingredients) into a pale tan colour.

Could you advise please when the vanilla flavour oil will be back in stock?: Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately it has been discontinued.
what can we use as an alternative when this product is over? is this vanilla aroma water soluble?: Thank you for your enquiry. The only other Vanilla product that we have is the organic Vanilla Extract which is dissolved in alcohol and is water soluble. The Vanilla Aroma Flavour is miscible with water.
Hi is the vanilla aroma oil being discontinued?: Yes, as stated in the Last Chance to Buy Page, once sold out this will not be restocked.
Could you use this aroma in candles? Thank you!: Thank you for your enquiry. Please see the below response from our Research and Development Team; "Yes you can but we don't know how good the scent throw will be or if it will cause your wax to discolour."
