This easy to make peeling gel contains a lower percentage of AHA's. To use, apply with your fingertips and leave for 5 minutes. Then simply rinse off with running water, ensuring you don't get any in your eyes. Remember to apply a moisturiser afterwards. Stage 1: (room temperature) 10% Rice Starch 10% Chamomile Hydrolat / Hydrosol 10% Aloe Vera Concentrate 62% Cold Bottled Spring Water Stage 2: (below 40 °C) 5% AHA Natural Fruit Extract 2% Rice Bran Oil 1% Preservative 12 100% Total Sold out Sold out Sold out Sold out Sold out Sold out Method: Combine all the Stage 1 ingredients together in a large beaker and stir with a silicon spatula to ensure there are no lumps. Place the beaker in a bain-marie (double boiler) and start to heat up. Keep stirring all the time to ensure the Rice Starch does not go lumpy. By the time the temperature has reached about 75 °C, the gel will have formed. Remove the beaker from the bain-marie to cool down. When the temperature has dropped to below 40 °C, add the Stage 2 (heat sensitive) ingredients. Stir thoroughly to combine the materials well. Jar and label.
