HOW TO USE IT
- Use 1% to 100%.
- This product is oil-soluble, so it can’t be used in water-only products. However, small amounts can be used in water-based gels that hold it in suspension.
- Organic sweet almond oil is heat stable, so it can be used in stage 1 (fat stage) when making creams and lotions.
- This oil blends well with all other vegetable oils. When making balms and ointments, it also works well with beeswax and rice bran wax.
- For itchy skin, combine sweet almond oil with chickweed oil, marshmallow root oil, comfrey oil or St. John’s wort oil.
Organic Sweet Almond Oil Benefits in Skin Care
- Suitable for all skin types but especially effective when used in products for dry skin.
- A highly nutritious oil — contains glucosides, minerals, plant sterols and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E.

- Commonly used for massage, leaving the skin smooth and soft without feeling greasy.
- Ideal to use in body wraps and scrubs that need some slip.
- Fantastic for use in baby care, with a few drops going a long way.
- Has its own natural sun protection factor (though this isn’t high enough for sweet almond oil to be used for sun protection on its own).
- Blend with drier oils like rosehip seed oil and chia seed oil if using on oily skin.
- Use in gels, creams, lotions, serums, cleansers, balms and ointments.
Organic Sweet Almond Oil Benefits in Hair Care
