Our Rose de Mai Absolute is a clear, orange to brown, mobile liquid with a deeply rich, sweet floral fragrance that is haunting and tenacious.
It is an extract of the flowers of the Cabbage Rose.
According to the Cosmetic Ingredient Database (CosIng), the functions of Rose de Mai Absolute are: Astringent, Masking, Skin Conditioning, Tonic.

It is a good skin care oil for all skin types.
Use in day creams, night creams and serums.
It is well known as a natural aphrodisiac so add to bath melts, body butters and lotions for sensual luxury.
Considered to be very much a feminine oil but the beauty of the fragrance is one of the most globally appreciated smells across all cultures.
Use in a diffuser to set the ambience for a romantic evening in. Blend with Jasmine and Ylang Ylang to use as an aphrodisiac.
Combine with Sandalwood and Patchouli for exceptional skincare, especially mature skin.
Add to Lavender Absolute in a high-end anti-ageing serum.
