Located mere metres from the Bethnal Green Station and the popular Shoreditch area, Liverpool street is just a short distance from an extensive list of attractions including Brick Lane, Old Spitalfields Market.
 
Less than 5 minutes from the Bethnal Green underground station, on the central line or a 6 minute walk from Bethnal green train station

There are a lot of hotels, Air B&B’s, a Travel Lodge on the same street as the venue and alterantive accommodation available. The venue is in Bethnal Green, East London.

COURSE TIME

These are one day practical courses, we ask attendees to arrive at the venue for 09:45 to register for a 10am start. Course end times can vary due to circumstances outwith control on the day however we aim to finish for 5pm.

ABOUT THIS VENUE

Chatelherault Country Park is a Five Star Visitor Attraction that was once described as a ‘Jewel in the Landscape’. Built in 1732 as a Hunting Lodge and Summer House for the Dukes of Hamilton.

By train
The closest train station is Chatelherault. If travelling far you may have to change trains at Glasgow.
 
By coach

You can easily get to Scotland by road from the rest of Britain. Coach services duplicate many train routes, often with much cheaper ticket prices.The frequency of service is often similar to that of the train, although longer distance journey times are usually much longer by coach.

Coach services to Scotland are operated by National Express, which runs routes to Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.

Megabus and Megabus Gold cover some routes including Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Perth. On some overnight services, passengers have their own berth as well as a standard seat for greater comfort during their journey.

By car

From the M74 exit at junction 6 onto Motherwell Road/A723 towards Hamilton.
At the roundabout take 2nd Exit onto Blackweell Lane/A723
Turn left onto Townhead Street/A72 and over 1 roundabout
Turn right onto Park Drive and country park should be to your left.

TRAVEL

By train
The closest train station is Forres. There are regular links from Inverness, Aberdeen. There are sleeper trains available from London that travel to Inverness overnight.
 
By coach
National Express +44 (0)843 504 3716 operates express services from London (Victoria Coach Station), and Citylink +44 (0)871 266 3333 from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Aberdeen and Inverness.

Megabus and Megabus Gold also run services between England and Scotland.

For coach connections from Aberdeen or Inverness to Forres, call Stagecoach BlueBird Buses +44 (0)843 903 3849, see their or check at the coach station.

There is an hourly bus service between Inverness airport and Forres.
 
By car
Travelling from the south via Edinburgh or Glasgow join the A9 at Perth. Leave the A9 just north of Aviemore turning right onto the A95 towards Grantown-on-Spey. At Grantown follow the A939/A940 to Forres. Follow the A940 through Forres to the intersection with the A96 Inverness–Aberdeen road. Turn leftonto the A96 and follow to the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A96 and then at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Greshop road and then we are the first right.

If driving from Inverness, follow the A96 to Aberdeen and Forres. Forres is approximately 25 miles from Inverness. At the roundabout in Forres take the first left onto Greshop Road and then we are the first right

By plane
There are regular flights to Inverness and Aberdeen airports from many UK and international airports. Aberdeen airport is about a 75 minute drive from Forres and Inverness airport is approximately 30 minutes away on the A96.
Easyjet, RyanAir, KLM, BA, Flybe, Eastern Airways and Loganair currently offer flights to Inverness and/or Aberdeen.

From Inverness Airport
The bus service operates up to every 30 minutes connecting Inverness city, Inverness Airport, Nairn, Forres and Elgin. From Inverness airport, take the bus 11A to Nairn, then the 10 towards Aberdeen, stopping in Forres. Our warehouse is just a few minutes walk away from the first stop in Forres.
 
Alternatively, taxis from Inverness Airport are relatively inexpensive and take just 30 minutes.

From Aberdeen Airport
You can take a bus or taxi from the airport to Dyce railway station, from where you will be able to connect to the ScotRail train service which runs between Aberdeen and Inverness and stops at Forres train station, from where you can get a taxi to the venue ot walk. Dyce station is unstaffed but you can buy a ticket on the train.
