A strong, sweet, floral fragrance, typical of the rose flower. Also known as Rose Attar.

A colourless to pale yellow blended fragrance oil that is obtained from steam distillation of the flowers of the Damask Rose.

According to the Cosmetic Ingredient Database (CosIng), the functions of Rose Otto are: Masking, Skin Conditioning.

Skin Care

An excellent oil for all skin types, but especially beneficial to dry skin and mature skin,

Use in creams, gels and lotions as well as eye and face serums and body butters.

Suitable for acne-prone skin.

In massage products and all types of relaxing spa products, rose otto relaxes the mind and makes a person feel loved and special, and boosts their confidence.

Hair Care

No direct benefits to the hair but it would make a shampoo or conditioner very luxurious, relaxing and desirable.

Use in a diffuser to set the ambience for a romantic evening in.

Blend with Jasmine and Ylang Ylang as an aphrodisiac.

DISSAPOINTED WITH MY ROSE OTTO

"In all the years I have used Aromantic I have never had to complain about anything. I decided to treat myself to what is labeled ROSE OTTO. Unfortunately, this is not Rose Otto. It is more like the Rose Mix I purchased a few years ago, of which I still have some. I put a drop on my face and it is still stinging. As an aromatherapist, I know that True Rose Otto is non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. I am therefore asking for a refund."

Not 100% essential oil

"I was disappointed to discover that at this price it was not 100% essential oil and that it had parfum in it."

Cheap and awful quality. Not an essential oil. It is a blended fragrance oil with Parfum which is highly unethical and toxic.

"This product is listed as an essential oil. However it is blended with Parfum, making it toxic and unethical, it is horrific quality which does not represent Rose Otto. An essential oil blended with parfum is incredibly cheap, for this price you are being robbed and conned. The company are stating it is a blended fragrance oil despite it being listed as an essential oil, two very different things. It is highly misleading and they refuse to refund. I will no longer order from this company, having been a loyal customer for years. It is disgraceful to list a fragrance oil under essential oils and charge the price of an essential oil which it is not, expecting people to read every detail of a product description when essential oils are NOT blended with parfum and the other essential oils on their website do NOT have parfum. It should be listed as a fragrance oil. Do not spend your money on this product. Do not buy from this company."
