Rice Bran Barrier Balm

Balm Brazil Nut Oil Calendula CO2 Extract Cocoa Butter EcoSil MB Olive Oil Rice Bran Wax

A rich blend of soothing and protective oils that combine with the Cocoa Butter and Rice Bran Wax to give a cushioned barrier for hard working hands.
Stage 1: (heat until melted)
36% Brazil Nut Oil
25% Olive Oil
15% Rice Bran Wax
11% Cocoa Butter

Stage 2: (below 50°C)
10% EcoSilk MB
2% Calendula CO2 Extract
1% Essential Oils
Total 100%
 
Method:
  • Heat all the Stage 1 ingredients in a double boiler. Stir and melt fully.
  • Remove from the heat and stir while it cools to approximately 40-50°C.
  • Stir in the Stage 2 ingredients and blend thoroughly. Pour into jars and leave to cool before sealing and labelling.
