“It can be used in several ways but it very much depends on the natural spring of your hair and how long it is.
It can be used as a conditioning mask, applied to dry hair and then covered in a shower cap to then be gently shampooed hours later.
It will also be effective under a steamer.
After shampooing, it can be used and then rinsed off.
On a non hair wash day, a smaller amount can be scrunched through the drier parts of your hair or the areas where you want to adapt the style. You might also water spritz the hair first as that helps the conditioner to lock in moisture better, but it is totally safe to use as a leave on conditioner.
Down to a lot of personal experimentation for you though depending on how it works with your own hair."

Would this be a rinse-out or leave-in conditioner for dry 4C hair?

“All ingredient are weighed, even liquids. That is the only way to ensure your ratios are accurate.
If you take that recipe and change every % symbol to g which = grams, you will have a recipe that totals 100 grams (you will have weighed out 72g of water).
If you want to make double the amount, simply double all the numbers and you will still have the same percentage of ingredients. If you want to make 1kg of product, put a zero after each number – the ratio of materials will all stay the same to each other.
This percentage is important because with materials like the preservative, you need to use the correct amount of 1%. If you use too much, you can get a skin irritation. If you use too little, the product fails and gets contaminated."
