Method
  • Weigh the cornflour into a mixing bowl. Weigh out all the other ingredients and add them all to the cornflour, including the colour and essential oil (if used).
  • Stir the ingredients together with a plastic mixing spoon until they are well mixed in, then scrape the mixture out onto a clean work surface sprinkled with cornflour so that it doesn’t stick.
  • Knead the mixture together until the colour is even, and the mixture is no longer sticky.
  • Mould into balls and put into a wee bowl to use and enjoy.
  • Break off small pieces, wet your hands and rub the Modelling Soap between your palms to make a lather, rinse off as usual.
If the mixture is too dry, add a little more Natural Surfactant Base / Liquid Castile Soap and mix in thoroughly. If it is too sticky, sprinkle over the surface with a little more cornflour and knead in, repeat until the mix is no longer sticky.

Natural Surfactant Base can be substituted with Liquid Castile Soap at the same quantity.
