Learn @ Home - Age Defying

This kit will provide hands-on experience in making high end, natural and organic skin care products along with an introduction to some in-depth understanding of the raw materials used. These two boxes feature recipes and ingredients that are great for anti-aging and mature skin.

You'll receive a box containing all your raw materials, with the exception of the water, and access to your recipe brochure that will guide you through each of the 3 recipes that are included in each box as well as equipment needed for making the products. We encourage you to make notes as you go along as this will help you to understand how to adapt formulations later on to be bespoke for you.

From time to time, due to supply chain delays, we may substitute replacement products that still provide the same benefits and can be used in a like for like manner. Also, please note that these kits contain a hydrolat. Hydrolats are a wonderful natural ingredient but can be fragile and do not always have long shelf lives. Sometimes the hydrolats you receive might only have a month on them. Just remember that as soon as you add your preservative, your end product will have a 12-18 months BBE, so having short dated products doesn't affect your end products.

We have two different boxes for our Learn @ Home Age Defying kits. Each box offers three exciting recipes that highlight some wonderful ingredients for anti-aging and mature skin. There are enough materials to make 100g of each recipe in each box.

With Box 1, you'll learn to make:

• Every Day Cream, however, there is nothing "every day" about the ingredients! Precious Pomegranate Seed Oil is combined with Baobab Seed Oil to create a skin cream of exceptional smoothness. Enhanced with D-Panthenol (vitamin B5), it is a daily treat for all skin types.
• Brightening Peeling Lotion. It contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid Fruit Acids that gently and safely peel away dead skin cells revealing the brighter bew skin cells beneath. It is intended to be used weekly as an intensive leave-on peel. it is always best to do a small skin test first in case you have very reactive skin. If you feel any irritation, then wash it off right away. If you see any slight reddening, that will calm down and the next time you use it, maybe use it at night instead.
• Rejuvenating Skin Toner. Packed full of wonderful ingredients such as Vitamin B3, Liftonin and Lupin Peptides that benefit your skin by reducing the appearance of wrinkles, encouraging skin cell regeneration and giving you a flawless, radiant complexion. Use daily and may be layered under the Every Day Cream that you will also make.

With Box 2, you'll learn to make:

• Intensive Hydration Cream. Rich with Mango Butter and Rice Bran Oil, the Hyaluronic Acid boosts your skin's hydration incredibly well. Excellent to use as a night cream but don't let that stop you trying it as a day cream - it's not too heavy to do both!
• Ultra Smoothing Serum. It includes valuable age defying ingredients lilke Pomegranate Seed Oil, tocotrienol packed Rice Bran Oil and oil soluble actives like Remodelling Intense and Algaktiv Zen, known for their amazing skin smoothing properties. A little goes a long way so 30ml will last for quite awhile!
• Firming Facial Gel. A wonderfully silky Cellulose Gel that includes a host of fabulous skin enhancing active ingredients that tighten and brighten your complexion. Wu Zhu Extract, Remodelling Intense and Liftonin all work synergistically with Hyaluronic Acid and Algaktiv Zen producing noticeable results in a short time. Apply before you put on your make up (if you wear any) or under a moisturising cream.

• 10g Hyaluronic Acid Gel

• 5g Siberian Ginseng Extract
• 5ml Wu Zhu Extract
• 5ml Remodelling Intense

​Essential oils are not included as this would not be practical, so please order whichever ones you might want at the same time. Each essential oil has a fully detailed description of the benefits on the website to help you choose. You may already have your favourites! If you do not want to include essential oils in your products simply add that 1% to the water in the formulation.

We also recommend a small battery powered milk frother which will work perfectly well to mix your formulations.
