Deodorants
Our raw materials for making deodorants will help you to avoid high street versions. Commercial deodorants and anti-perspirants often contain aluminium hydroxychloride, which can be irritating to the skin, is easily absorbed by damaged skin, and not the best solution for our sweat problems.
Deocrystal Stone Powder, or potassium alum, is a natural anti-perspirant that is safe to use as an alternative to aluminium chlorohydrate, which is found in most commercially available deodorants. It is finely-ground potassium alum, a mineral salt drawn from bauxite, an ore which is formed by the rapid weathering of granitic rocks in warm, humid climates and can be purified and converted directly into alum. By using Deocrystal Stone Powder you can extend the deodorant effect under your arms from 5 to 6 hours (Farnesol and Lemon Ester only) to possibly double that, giving you whole-day protection.
Farnesol is an odour-free, natural raw material extracted from palmarosa and chamomile essential oils which kills the bacteria that make our perspiration smell unpleasant. It doesn't close the pores or stop the natural process of perspiration.
Lemon-Ester reduces the pH of the skin, making it more acidic and therefore less prone to growing bacteria. The effect of using Farnesol and Lemon-Ester lasts for 5-6 hours. Add Deocrystal Stone Powder to double the protection time.
